K-8 Art Classes
Divine Child Elementary School Art is for all students Grades K-8. Our Fine Arts Program has concentrations in fields such as Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Media Arts. Every student actively learns and creates in these areas of artistic discipline. The Divine Child Elementary School Art Curriculum is aligned to the National Visual Arts Standards and State of Michigan Standards.
Craft Club
Craft Club is offered to students in grades 6th-8th. The club meets twice a month to create various types of crafts and build community. Projects include: bracelet making, shrinky dinks, sewing, scrapbooking, etc. Projects are revised year by year.
Summer Art Camp
Art Camp offers new adventures every summer through specialized projects. Students in Grades 5-6 experience Art Camp during their first week of summer vacation. Students in Grades 7-9 can join the Junior High Art Camp which is held in the DCHS Art Studio the first two weeks of August.
